Make An Appointment

If you want to make an appointment, contact my secretary, Lesa, by calling 540-961-2889. You can also request an appointment via email on the contact page here. I charge $75 for an initial consultation in criminal matters. I generally charge a flat rate for services in criminal cases, and I will tell you what I will charge during the initial consultation. I will deduct the initial consultation fee from any additional fee if you engage me for additional services.

If you enter into an attorney-client relationship with me after our initial consultation, I will present you with a retainer agreement we will both sign that defines our roles, describes your responsibilities, and mine, defines the scope of my representation, and tells you how you can expect me to assist you. I personalize each agreement for each client I represent, but you can download and review a sample agreement here.

PayPal, Credit Cards, & Remote Signatures

Sometimes time or distance prevent clients from coming to my office. Or you might be a third party engaging counsel for an incarcerated friend or family member. If so, we can conduct an interview by phone or computer video. We can also execute a retainer agreement remotely if you can scan or photograph a document and send it via fax or as an attachment to an email. My office is also equipped to receive payments by credit card and/or via PayPal. If you choose to pay by credit card or PayPal, I will send you an invoice via email. Just follow the steps contained in the email when you receive it, and you’ll be set.
